Stage towns

Start towns
The Village Départ is the center for entertainment and festivities in each starting town. It is a welcoming area with partner booths and various activities for all ages provided by local associations.

It is also where the departure stage is located. Every rider will get up on the stage to sign in for the day's stage.

The Village Départ is the best place to get close to the riders, ask for autographs and take pictures.
Finish towns
This is where the finish line is and where the winner of the stage gets crowned. On flat or mountain stages, the finish line is a unique place to see and support the riders.

The riders will appreciate your congratulations during the official podium ceremony after each stage.

Along the route

Best viewing positions
If departures and arrivals are uniquely spectacular, the route also offers some terrific places to watch the race such as intermediate sprints for the battle for the sprinter's jersey and climbs for the battle for the polka dot jersey. That's where the action is. See the info for each stage below.

To enjoy the show a little longer, any climb - even unlisted - will let you see the peloton ride past slower than on any downhill or flat portion.
Advertising caravan
Between 30 minutes and 1 hour ahead of the riders, the caravan will entertain spectators along the full length of the course.
